Heather T. Shai, a Maryland native, received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida, and a Master of Science degree specializing in Business and Human Resources Management from American University, in Washington D.C.

Since entering the industry 20 years ago, Heather has opened her own real estate consulting company and held positions from Vice President of Business Development to a Top Producing Sales Manager and Account Manager. With over 8,000 real estate transactions to date, Heather’s approach to business development and conducting settlements is to focus on customer care and exceeding expectations. As a Settlement Officer, her acumen and communication skills come together, ensuring an organized and efficient transaction for all sides.

Heather enjoys giving back to her industry community and has been active with the Howard County Association of Realtors (“HCAR”) on its Board of Directors, various committees and HCAR Cares and has received the HCAR President’s Award and the Affiliate of the Year. She is also a graduate of the Maryland Realtors Leadership Academy. 

Heather is the wife of an Army Veteran who enjoys volunteering with several organizations in support of active-duty military, veterans, and their families. Heather also enjoys coaching a local Girls on the Run team and volunteering with her children’s Girl Scout Troops and school clubs.  In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing tennis and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
